Good Afternoon! I woke up this morning and my face was feeling very dry and dull. Whenever my face gets to feeling this way I LOVE to whip up a quick DIY homemade facial. All the ingredients are natural and are perfect for ALL skin types, ranging from sensitive to oily. This facial is super easy and will leave your skin feeling refreshed, tightened, and super soft. A great way to relax!
Model Shalom Harlow calls this homemade facemask (only 3 ingredients required!) “Moisturizing and soothing.”
Yogurt, Oatmeal, and Honey Facemask
Total Time: 2 minutes
1/2 tabelspoon honey
2 tablespoons of plain or greek yogurt
1 tablespoon dry oats
2 slices of cucumbers
Preparation: . In a small to medium sized bowl, add 2 tablespoons of yogurt (do not use flavored yogurt!) 1 tabelspoon dry oats and 1 tablespoon of honey. Mix them up and apply to your face.Don’t forget to add the finishing touch (the cucumber slices on your eyes!) Leave on face for a few minutes,then rinse your face in warm water. Follow with applying a warm washcloth to your face.
- TIP: Light some candles, dim the lights, put on calming music, drink a glass of cucumber lemon water and take a moment to relax for a mini at home spa experience.
