Hey guys, my apologies for not posting until now, I have been SWAMPED with homework. Fun, I know! 🙂 Well enough about me lets continue with day 3 of my After Dinner Snack Attack Series. Today I am posting a recipe that will not only leave you feeling full, but your body and skin will also benefit from it. This refresher smoothie has blueberries for antioxidants, strawberries to help ease inflammation, and peaches, which contain vitamin C helps to keep skin looking radiant. Once peaches go out of season you can substitute raspberries, pomegranate seeds, or oranges. Or, if you are feeling ambitious, add them all in now and when peaches are out of season. Enjoy!
– Pour ½ to ¾ cup non-diary milk or normal milk into blender or single serve blender (the bullet). Add a few ice cubes, 5 to 7 fresh strawberries cut in half, a handful of blueberries and half a peach cut up into chunks. Blend until you have preferred consistency. If craving a more filling smoothie, add 1/3 of a cup yogurt or for a special treat, vanilla ice cream. Serve in a fun glass and add a colorful straw!
